Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice
- 60 g Rice-shaped pasta
- 60 g Butter
- 2 tsp Salt
- 570 g Water
- a lot Love
Instructions
- Wash rice and soak.
- Stir-fry the rice-shaped pasta (called Şefriye in Turkey, Risoni in Italy) in butter.
- Add 2, salt, and love to 1 and cook as usual in a rice cooker.
- Cut into shapes and serve on a plate.
Notes
This is the rice dish that became the basis for pilaf, very commonly eaten in Turkey. It is eaten with soups or stews.
