Wakame Rice

Wakame Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rice
  • 80 g wakame seaweed
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)
  • A pinch salt
  • to taste White sesame seeds
  • A lot of love

Instructions

  • Wash rice and soak in water for 1.5 hours.
  • Drain off the water and add soy sauce, sake, mirin, and salt.
  • Pour boiling water over raw wakame seaweed and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Put 3 on 2 and cook rice.
  • Place the rice in a bowl and sprinkle white sesame seeds on top.
