Ingredients

  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp Pomegranate powder
  • 60 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 80 ml Milk
  • a lot Love

Instructions

  • Sift together the flour, baking powder, pomegranate powder, and sugar.
  • Add the butter to 1 and mix until crumbly.
  • Gradually add milk and love to the mixture from step 2, folding gently as you mix.
  • Cut out shapes with scone mold from the dough, brush with milk, and bake at 170℃ for 17 minutes.

Notes

These scones use pomegranate tea, popular in Turkey. They’re delicious served with clotted cream and lemon jam.
