Tea and Chestnut Stollen

Ingredients

  • 100 g strong flour
  • 80 g flour
  • 1/2 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 20 g sugar
  • 2 g salt
  • 2 g dry yeast
  • 80 ml milk
  • 70 ml Egg + water
  • 15 g butter
  • 10 chestnuts(candied chestnuts)
  • 50 g mixed fruit
  • to taste Butter
  • to taste Sugar powder
  • A lot of love

Instructions

  • Put strong flour, flour, sugar, salt, dry yeast and Earl Grey tea leaves in a container and mix well
  • Add milk, water, egg and melted butter and mix well
  • Mix the mixed fruits, chopped chestnuts and love into the mixture of 2.
  • Keep 3 in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Remove 4 from the container onto floured cooking paper and fold into three equal sections.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Brush the tops with butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm.
  • Let cool and wrap 7 in plastic wrap.

Notes

*This is an easy-to-eat stollen with no added spices. Chestnuts and Earl Grey go well together.
