Grilled Eggplant

Ingredients
- 1 Eggplant
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Barley miso
- 1/2 tbsp Ume plum jam
- 1 tsp White soy sauce
- 1 tsp Agape syrup
- 2 leaves Japanese ginger
- a lot Love
Instructions
- Cut eggplant in half lengthwise and softly boil in a frying pan with hot water.
- Pour off the water from 1, and put sesame oil on the pan and grill the eggplant.
- Mix barley miso, ume plum jam, white soy sauce, and agape syrup with love.
- Spread 3 on the eggplant and garnish with Japanese ginger.
Notes
*If you boil the eggplant before grilling, you can reduce the amount of oil. It also makes them thicker and more tender.
Ume miso is very refreshing and light, so it is perfect for when you don’t have much of an appetite.
