Ingredients
- 100 g Strong flour
- 80 g Light brown flour
- 10 g Cocoa powder
- 20 g Sugar
- 2 g Salt
- 2 g Dry yeast
- 80 cc Milk
- 70 cc Egg + water
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 30 g Dried fruit
- 5 Roselle in honey
- 1 tbsp Nutmeg+ cinnamon allspice
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
- a lot Love
Instructions
- Mix together strong flour, light flour, cinnamon,nutmeg, allspice, cacao powder, sugar, salt, and dry yeast in an airtight container.
- Add milk, water, eggs, and olive oil, and mix further.
- Mix in the dried fruit, chopped honeyed roselle, and love.
- Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator overnight (minimum6hours).
- Pour the mixture out of the container onto a piece of cooking paper and brush with olive oil.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm.
- Remove from heat and cut into 2cm cubes.
Notes
*This Christmas bread has a slightly richer taste with the addition of cocoa powder. It is perfect with milked tea.You can also enjoy it as a warming bread in winter, not just for Christmas!
