Ingredients

  • 100 g Strong flour
  • 80 g Light brown flour
  • 10 g Cocoa powder
  • 20 g Sugar
  • 2 g Salt
  • 2 g Dry yeast
  • 80 cc Milk
  • 70 cc Egg + water
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 30 g Dried fruit
  • 5 Roselle in honey
  • 1 tbsp Nutmeg+ cinnamon allspice
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • a lot Love

Instructions

  • Mix together strong flour, light flour, cinnamon,nutmeg, allspice, cacao powder, sugar, salt, and dry yeast in an airtight container.
  • Add milk, water, eggs, and olive oil, and mix further.
  • Mix in the dried fruit, chopped honeyed roselle, and love.
  • Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator overnight (minimum6hours).
  • Pour the mixture out of the container onto a piece of cooking paper and brush with olive oil.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm.
  • Remove from heat and cut into 2cm cubes.

Notes

*This Christmas bread has a slightly richer taste with the addition of cocoa powder. It is perfect with milked tea.You can also enjoy it as a warming bread in winter, not just for Christmas!
