Rice Flour Lemon Oyaki Cake

Ingredients
- 70 g Rice flour
- 10 g Potato starch
- 3 g Sugar
- a little Salt
- 3 g Baking powder
- 50-60 ml Boiling water
- 50 g Canned mackerel
- 4 slices Honey-preserved lemon
- 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
- 50 ml Water
- 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
- a lot Love
Instructions
- Mix rice flour, potato starch, sugar, salt, baking powder, and love. Gradually add boiling water and knead well.
- Divide the dough into 5 equal portions. Place each portion between two sheets of plastic wrap and roll into a circle.
- Finely chop the canned mackerel and honey-pickled lemon, then divide this mixture into 5 equal portions.
- Wrap each portion of the mixture from step 3 inside a round piece of dough from step 2.
- Fry the wrapped dumplings in a pan coated with sesame oil.
- Once both sides are nicely browned, add water and steam-fry.
- Finally, brush with soy sauce to add fragrance.
How to Make Honey-PreservedLemons
- Slice lemons thinly and soak in honey for 2weeks. Enjoy the syrup diluted with water or soda. This method means you don't have to rush to use the lemons.
