Halloween Ball shaped Sushi
Cost: 200yen
Ingredients
- 30 dried butterfly peas
- 3 cups rice
- 1 tbsp sake
- A lot love
- 30 pieces roselle malt (If you don't have roselle malt, substitute with kari-kari-ume plum)
Instructions
- Put butterfly peas in the rice with sake and love.
- When the rice is cooked, remove the butterfly pea flowers.
- Cut the roselle malt or ume plums into rough chunks
- Form into a round shape with saran wrap and put 3on top.
Notes
Blue rice is perfect for Halloween. Butterfly peas themselves have no flavor, but they taste great when combined with kari-kari-ume, yukari, etc.
