Simple simmered fish with sansho (Japanese pepper) flavor

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Slices of fish
  • 50 cc Water
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Japanese cooking wine
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Japanese pepper
  • a lot Love

Instructions

  • Grate any available fish such as horse mackerel,mackerel, or sea bream into three pieces.
  • Put water, sugar, Japanese cooking wine, soy sauce,and salt with love in a frying pan and bring to a boil.
  • When 2 comes to a boil, put in the Japanese pepper.
  • Simmer over low heat until the amount of liquid in3 is reduced to half.

Notes

*Simmering fish with Japanese pepper is a summer dish that is slightly spicy and leaves you with a refreshing feeling after eating.
