Matcha Water Dumplings with plum jam

Ingredients

  • 20 g Potato starch
  • 15 g Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Matcha powder
  • 200 ml Water
  • 75 g White bean paste
  • 1 tbsp Plum jam
  • to taste Kinako (roasted soybean flour)
  • a lot Love

Instructions

  • Mix potato starch, sugar, matcha, and love.
  • Add water to 1.
  • Heat 2. Remove from heat once thickened.
  • Mix ume jam into white bean paste.
  • Divide mixture 3 into 10 equal portions on plastic wrap. Place filling 4 on top of each portion. Add another portion of mixture 3 on top, shape into a ball, secure with a rubber band, and chill in ice water.
  • Place chilled dumplings on a plate, sprinkle with kinako, and serve.

Notes

The sweet-sour taste of plum creates a smooth, easy-to-eat texture perfect for summer.
