Marinated small horse mackerel

Equipment

  • frying pan

Ingredients

  • 10 small horse mackerel
  • 1 tsp sake
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp rice flour
  • 2 tsp potato starch
  • 50 ml rice oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt

A pinch of ginger

  • 1/2 leek
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • a lot love

Instructions

  • Remove guts from small horse mackerel and wash and dry.
  • Season the horse mackerel with sake and salt and add rice flour and potato starch mixture.
  • Deep fry the horse mackerel in rice oil.
  • Cut onion into thin slices and add salt (1tsp pinch).
  • Finely chop ginger and leek.
  • Fry ginger and leek in sesame oil, add sake, soy sauce, vinegar and love and make sauce.
  • Drain onion from 4, and plate. Put fried horse mackerel on the onion and pour sauce from 6. Then let stand for a while.

Notes

The most popular way to eat small horse mackerel is marinated in sweet and spicy vinegar. Make a lot during the season.
