Chickpea Soup

Ingredients
- 300 ml Chickpea cooking liquid
- 1/4 medium Onion
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- a pinch Savory
- a lot Love
Instructions
- Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a pot and stir- fry the chopped onion and garlic from step 1.
- Place the chickpea cooking liquid and the mixture from step 2 into a blender and blend.
- Pour the mixture from step 3 back into the pot. Season with salt and savory.
Notes
The chickpea cooking liquid itself makes a delicious broth. Savory is a herb from the mint family, also known as “bean herb.” It goes well with bean stews and soups.
