Plum Trifle

Plum Trifle

Ingredients
- to taste Cake
- 1 tbsp Plum jam
- 1 tbsp Custard cream
- 1 tbsp Whipped cream
- to taste Canned mixed fruit
- a pinch Ground cinnamon
- a lot Love
Custard Cream
- 1 Egg yolk
- 100 cc Milk
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cake flour
Instructions
- Make the custard cream.
- Whip the fresh cream.
- Cut the cake into bite-sized pieces.
- Layer the cake, jam, custard, canned fruit mix, and whipped cream from step 3.
- Repeat this layering twice.
- Finish by sprinkling cinnamon powder and love on top.
Custard Cream
- Thoroughly mix egg yolk and sugar
- Add cake flour to 1 and mix well
- Gradually add milk to 2 while mixing
- Microwave for 1 minute. Remove, mix, then Heat in 1-minute intervals (repeat until desired consistency is reached)
Notes
I made jam with precious plums from this season. The sweet and sour jam is refreshing.
