My husband’s 62nd birthday

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with my son and his family.

Celebrations are always a joyful occasion, no matter how old you are.

My husband’s very happy smile made me happy too.

This time, we had sukiyaki of Nagoya Cochin (chicken) and sekihan (red rice with red beans).

Iwakura is famous for Nagoya Cochin. It is also included in the Furusato tax payment.

Recently, a bath salt made from Nagoya Cochin has been made (though it seems to be unpopular).

My grandson also liked the cochin and ate a lot of it.

There was also a wonderful harmonica and piano performance by my son and his wife.

It was a very enjoyable day.

I hope my husband and I will have a good year.
