Afternoon tea class in May

Last month’s keyword was “fruits”
The welcome drink was “Lemon honey and soda”.  I made the “Lemon honey” last year from lemons in my garden

Lemon drizzle cake, whey biscuits, and fruit sandwiches

The lemon drizzle cake was very sour. We made it using a lot of lemon juice and lemon skins.
The whey biscuits were gluten free.
The fruit sandwiches were different in each class, but in every class we made some strawberry sandwiches with strawberries from my garden.

Strawberry tea, English rose tea, and Milked tea
The strawberry tea was made with Ceylon tea “Dimbula”and strawberry compote which I made with tiny strawberries from my garden.

The English rose tea had a very good scent. It was made with tea leaves of the Whitterd Tea Company in England.

The milked tea was made with special teabags which was Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday. It was excellent!

Everybody was surprised at the delicious milked tea. They said, they had never drunk such nice milked tea.
We had a very nice afternoon with delicious teas and sweets we made ourselves.

The students looked very happy!
