Kura-cooking in February

We enjoyed miso making lessons and kimchi making lessons in addition to regular lessons.

During our lessons, we could see beautiful plum flowers in my garden through the window.(shown below)

We made some Buddhist vegetarian meals. They had a detox effect.
We used some soybean meat, they looked like real pork, and taste was also like pork.

Students could see a lot of Japanese dolls for Girl’s festival in Kura.

Welcome drink was Lemon honey which had a lot of vitamin C.
It is good for health in this season to protect from any virus.

Japanese dishes:
Teriyaki soy bean meat, Grilled dried shiitake mushroom with tofu residue, Taro dumplings, Tofu skin sushi, Soup of buckwheat, Soy milk jelly.
We were so full, but Buddhist vegetarian food digest quickly. So we became hungry after a few hours.

Afternoon tea class:
Dried peach scone with ruby chocolate and fermented rice・Queen of pudding.
Focaccia, Peach tea, Milked roasted Japanese green tea

Some students made miso before the Japanese cooking class or the afternoon tea class.
It took a quite long time but they enjoyed it. They were really active!
