A Warm Visit from a Music lover Couple from Hong Kong

Today, a very lovely couple from Hong Kong came to Kura Cooking.
She is a flutist, and he is a high school music teacher. They told me that one day they hope to hold a concert together—I would truly love to go and listen when that day comes.

At their request, we made:

  • Non-fried healthy tonkatsu
  • Vall-shaped sushi
  • Vegetable tempura
  • Miso soup
  • Heart-shaped uiro

They said everything was delicious and finished every dish, which made me very happy.

He is British, so we ended up having a lively conversation about scones—
Clotted cream first? Or jam first?

It was such an enjoyable time. I’m grateful for today’s wonderful encounter.
