A Special Family Visit from the U.S.

Today we welcomed guests from the United States to Kura Cooking.
They made ramen, shrimp gyoza, and sesame mochi.

About six months ago, a Japanese–American couple visited us together. This time, he returned with his family as they came to Japan for his wedding ceremony—and they chose to visit Kura Cooking again.

Their request was ramen and gyoza. As one family member does not eat meat, we prepared a seafood ramen with Japanese-style dashi, seafood gyoza, and sesame mochi made with tofu for dessert.

They said everything was very delicious and enjoyed the meal greatly. Rolling out the gyoza wrappers took some time, but they worked on it happily and with good spirits.
