Ramen-Loving Belgian Family at Kura Cooking — Featured on Nagoya TV

Today we welcomed a ramen-loving Belgian family living in the Philippines to Kura Cooking. And to our surprise, Nagoya TV came to cover the experience as well.
Filming began with the moment we met at the station, followed by scenes of cooking together and enjoying the meal. The program is scheduled to air on January 5th on Dodesuka Plus.
Their 14-year-old daughter eats ramen often, but she told us that the ramen at Kura Cooking was the best she has ever had—and she finished every last drop of the soup. She also skillfully scratch the gyoza wrappers, wrapped the filling beautifully, and made perfectly shaped gyoza.
They absolutely loved the uiro (steamed rice cake) as well. Even though they said they were completely full, they ended up eating all of the souvenir uiro during a visit to a nearby temple (Shōkiji) after the class.
After that, we took them to Iwakura City Historic Park, where they explored Yayoi-period pit dwellings and Edo-period houses, and then we dropped them off at Iwakura Station.
I’m truly grateful that Kura Cooking could become part of their memories of traveling in Japan. And my sincere thanks go to the wonderful staff from Nagoya TV for spending so much time filming with us.
