Happy Halloween: Toasting with Ume Drink & Pumpkin Mochi

Happy Halloween
We made a festive toast with an ume drink brought by one of the students.

October’s dessert was pumpkin mochi. This year we harvested plenty of pumpkins from the garden, so they were perfect for all of our Halloween dishes! Of course, we used them with the skin on.

A simple, rustic, and wonderfully delicious dessert.
