The Ise Shrine Dedication Fireworks Display
The Ise Shrine Dedication Fireworks Display is held at the Miya river in Ise City

It is one of the three fireworks competitions held in Japan.
(The other two are Omagari in Akita Prefecture and Tsuchiura in Ibaraki Prefecture.)
This year it was held on July 13. We took raincoats, hats, etc. in case we got wet in the rain because the forecast said it might rain heavily that day, but the event was to be held rain or shine and umbrellas were not allowed.

In fact, we didn’t have heavy rain during the event.
Because it was a competitive fireworks display, the interval between each contestant was very long, as there seemed to be scoring after each one. It was so long that I fell asleep in the middle of the show.
Moreover, because of the thick clouds, we could hardly see the fireworks that went up high.
But when the wind blew once in a while, the fireworks that followed were very beautiful!
Was it possible to fair equal scoring with this? I was a little doubtful, but a winner was announced.
Putting aside whether the fireworks were good or not, the law-tech atmosphere of the venue was very warm,
We had an enjoyable evening.
An extra story
After the fireworks, I took a train from Ise City Station to Matsusaka, where I stayed at the hotel.
I suddenly realized that I had already been on the train for 30 minutes. Did it take this long to get here?
Suddenly, an announcement was made.
Please wait 10 minutes because a train coming from the opposite direction will pass by at this station.
After that, this happened at three more stations.
That’s right. It means that it was a single track.
In the end, it took one hour to arrive at Matsusaka! It would have taken 15 minutes on the Kintetsu line.
Well, didn’t mind it was no trouble.
