In October’s cooking class

Last month’s menu was for stomachs which are sensitive to the changing of the season.

Having a healthy stomach keeps you healthy and make your skin beautiful.

The welcome drink was nagana and honey with juice from lemons which had been taken from my garden. Nagana is good for the throat.

Stir-fried beef tendon and konnyaku

Beef tendon is often used in which cooked by stewing. This is a new style recipe.

Baked grated lotus roots with seaweed

Grated lotus roots go well with seaweed.

Mixed eggplants and smoked sardines in oil

Smoked sardines in oil are really tasty.

Salad of dried tofu powder

Dried tofu powder is useful for making salads. Salad of tofu powder is similar to potato salad.

We made our own mayonnaise.

It is a new style potato cake because there is apple in it. It’s really refreshing.
