Halloween cooking in October

I loved October because it was the Halloween month.

I ate a lot of pumpkin this season.

It is good for health in seasonal changes.

I made a lot of Japanese recipes using pumpkin.

Welcome drink was made with lemon and honey.

I used a lot of pumpkin in the following dishes.

   

・Grilled fish and pumpkin

・Pumpkin spring roll

・Pickled pumpkin

・Stir-fried skin of pumpkin

・Pumpkin rice

・Pumpkin soup

・Pumpkin dumpling

I added Yuzu and maple leaves from my garden to the dishes.

It was really pleasant to the eyes.

I marinated the fish with sweet sake and sandwiched it with mashed pumpkin.

I wrapped mixed mashed pumpkin, miso and leeks by spring roll sheets then deep fried them.

You can eat fresh pumpkin marinated with Japanese ginger vinegar.

We had a lot of pumpkin skins because we made a lot of mashed pumpkin. Hot cod roe and pumpkin skins is a good combination.

Pumpkin rice cooked with cereals and cubed pumpkins

Pumpkin soup had sake lee and pumpkin. It was a little bit sweet and had good scent.

Pumpkin dumping was mixed clotted cream and mashed pumpkin. It was better than chestnut’s dumpling.

All the students were worried that they might not eat all the dishes, but they finally ate everything easily.

And they loved every taste.

All their faces looked better after eating pumpkin which had high nutritive value.

Probably all the students made special dishes for their Halloween party at their home.

This month’s menu is for Christmas.
