Mum and Toddler Cooking School
Today’s theme was making gyoza—because they really wanted to try eating dumplings they made themselves.

I had prepared the dough and filling in advance, and then they did the fun parts:

  • Rolling the dough into small balls (surprisingly well done!)
  • Using a rolling pin to flatten them into circles (this was quite tricky)
  • Filling and wrapping the dumplings (done very skillfully!)
  • Boiling some and pan-frying the rest

They were able to enjoy both boiled gyoza and pan-fried gyoza. Both turned out delicious, and they ate plenty with great satisfaction!
