Miso

味噌 (2)

This cold season every year I prepare “Miso” which is called “The doctor away”

This year I prepared it on February 1st.

The day before I put 3 kg of soy beans in water.

The next morning I boiled them until soft then cooled them.

In the afternoon, I mashed them and then added 3 kinds of malted rice (rice/wheat/beans) and salt.

Then I made them into balls and threw all of them into a container with a lot of love singing a song:

♪「Get evil out of the house, invite love into the house」

This action is one of my ways of stress reduction.

My beloved miso sit quietly for a year and give me pleasure again next year with your good taste.
