July’s Japanese cooking class at Kura

We made salad with thin- sliced pork, fried homemade cottage cheese, mix octopus with cucumber in Japanese style, marinated steamed eggplant, rice with ginger and edamame (young soybeans), cold whey soup with small tomatoes and onions, Japanese cake with plum jam and red bean paste.

All the students loved everything.

They were surprised at the original way of making salad with- thin sliced pork, at making cottage cheese in an easy way and frying it, at how cool hot soup can be cooled quickly, at the color of plum jam, etc.・・・・

We enjoyed making 7 dishes while talking.

In August, the traditional Japanese event “Bon “will come. So cooking class will be held on

August 2nd, 3rd, 4th.  10:30~1400   ¥4000
