Cooked Rice with Lotus root

Ingredient

  • 3 cups rice
  • a little water
  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 2 tbsp white soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150 g lotus root
  • 2 salted roselle per person
  • A lot of love

Instructions

  • Wash rice and soak in water for 1hour and half.
  • Thin slice latus root.
  • Add sake, white soy sauce and salt to the rice and let it soak in water.
  • Add thin sliced lotus root to the rice and cook.
  • Serve one by one and put chopped salted roselle on top.

Notes

*Lotus root is a food that boosts the immune system. It also contains plenty of vitamin C.
