Autumn Meuniere

Ingredient

  • 2 fish fillets (yellowtail, salmon, etc.)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • 2 tbsp rice oil
  • 80 g maitake mushrooms
  • 10 g butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • A lot of love

Instructions

  • Season fish with salt and sake and leave for 15 minutes.
  • Coat the fish in the mixture of rice flour and potato starch and grill in a frying pan with rice oil until crispy.
  • Cut maitake mushrooms into bite-size pieces and cook in butter in the same pan in which the fish was removed. Season with soy sauce and love.
  • Plate the fish on a serving platter and pour 3 on top.

Notes

* This fish dish is a great way to experience the aroma of autumn. Maitake mushrooms can be replaced with shiitake mushrooms or shimeji mushrooms.
