Sweet Potato Rice

- 2 cups rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp mirin (sweet cooking sake)
- 60 g dried baby sardines
- 200 g sweet potato
- A lot of love
Wash rice and soak in water
Add sake, shiro-tamari and mirin to rice and cook.
Cut sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces and steam.
When rice is cooked, add sweet potatoes and love.
When serving, put dried baby sardines on top.
This rice has the sweetness of sweet potatoes. It is better to steam the sweet potatoes separately than to cook them in a pot.
Steamed sweet potatoes are more beautiful than cooked ones.
