Ingredient

  • 500 Ripe plums
  • 400 Granulated sugar
  • a lot Love

Instructions

  • Weigh the ripe plums
  • Split in half (separate the seeded part from the seedless part)
  • Sprinkle sugar over 2.
  • Put 3 on the fire and remove the scum when water comes out.
  • Remove the seeds and peel in a colander.
  • Put 5 on the fire and stir.
  • When the color darkens, turn off the heat and leave to cool.

Notes

Ripe plum jam is sweet and sour and very tasty. It can be used as a jam for baking sweets and breads, or as a dipping sauce for grilled meat or fish.
