- 500 g Ripe plums
- 400 g Granulated sugar
- a lot Love
Weigh the ripe plums
Split in half (separate the seeded part from the seedless part)
Sprinkle sugar over 2.
Put 3 on the fire and remove the scum when water comes out.
Remove the seeds and peel in a colander.
Put 5 on the fire and stir.
When the color darkens, turn off the heat and leave to cool.
Ripe plum jam is sweet and sour and very tasty. It can be used as a jam for baking sweets and breads, or as a dipping sauce for grilled meat or fish.
