A Ramen and Gyoza Lesson with a Guest from the U.S.

Today, I welcomed a lovely guest from the United States. She is currently living in Japan with her American husband who works in Japan.

She told me that she loves ramen, so her requests for the lesson were ramen and gyoza.

As someone who loves cooking, she was incredibly quick and skillful at making gyoza. Each one was beautifully shaped—she folded them so smoothly.

She also enjoyed the dashi broth and the miso I made is good for miso ramen. The ramen and gyoza were delicious.

We enjoyed our meal while talking about family, travel, cultural differences, and many other topics. It was a truly enjoyable and memorable time.
