A Fun Summer Cooking Lesson with a Fourth-Grade Girl

Today, a fourth-grade girl came to Kura Cooking.

She took my lessons several times before, so we were able to cook in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere while chatting about all kinds of things.

Today’s menu was:

  • Deluxe cold Ramen
  • Gyoza Made from Scratch, Including the Wrappers
  • Matcha Milk Pudding

For the cold ramen, we prepared several colorful toppings: char siu-style chicken, seasoned bean sprouts, thin strips of omelet, cucumber, and tomatoes.

She did a wonderful work making the thin omelet and also prepared a delicious sesame sauce.

While slicing the char siu-style chicken, she had a taste. As soon as the boiled gyoza were ready, she tasted one. She also tasted the sauce and the seasoned bean sprouts.

Students tasted a lot at Kura Cooking— tasting is an important part of cooking, isn’t it?

I was very happy to see her enjoying the lesson. I am sure she will try making these dishes again during her summer vacation. 😊
